fomint has no accounts, sets no cookies, asks for no email and never touches a wallet. This page says what it does keep, for how long, and where its data comes from.
Disclaimer
Social activity, not financial advice or a prediction.
fomint counts and describes public posts. It is not financial, investment or trading advice, it does not predict prices, and it does not tell you what to buy, sell or hold. Scores can be thin, partial or wrong, and the Methodology page lists what fomint cannot see. What you do with a score is your decision.
Organic % describes the accounts that posted, not anyone’s intentions. fomint does not accuse any project, token or person of anything.
fomint is an independent project. It is not endorsed by, or affiliated with, X, Telegram, DexScreener or GeckoTerminal.
What fomint stores
Using fomint needs no account, no login, no wallet and no email address, and it sets no cookies. It never stores post text and never shows it: when fomint reads a post from X or Telegram, it turns the text into a fingerprint, keeps the fingerprint and drops the text.
| What | What for | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Post IDs and author IDs from X and Telegram. Telegram author IDs are salted and hashed first. | Counting mentions and unique authors. | 7 days |
| Engagement numbers: likes, reposts, replies and reactions. | The engagement part of Heat. | 7 days |
| A hash of each post’s text. Never the text itself. | Spotting copied text. | 7 days |
| Score snapshots: Heat, its four parts, Organic %, verdict, confidence and formula version. | The 24-hour chart, baselines and an audit trail. | 90 days |
| A salted hash of your IP address, next to a counter. | The daily limit on live lookups. | Until the end of the UTC day |
| Tallies of four anonymous events, listed below. | Seeing how the site is used. | As daily totals |
| Your last five lookups, in your browser’s local storage. | The recent lookups on the home page. | On your device, until you clear site data |
Four cookie-free events are counted. Each is a plain tally with nothing about you attached: no IP address, no browser details, no identifier.
- lookup_submitted. Someone submitted a lookup.
- result_shown. A result was shown, and whether it came from the cache or a live lookup.
- share_clicked. A share button was used: Share to X, Copy link or Download card.
- result_opened_from_share. A result was opened from a shared link. Shared links end in ?s=1.
Like any website, the servers that deliver fomint see ordinary request data, such as your IP address and browser type, and may keep access logs for a short time to run the service and block abuse.
Where the data comes from
- X, through the official API
Counts of posts that mention a token’s address, a link to it or its $TICKER, plus a sample of the 50 most recent such posts. fomint keeps the fields in the table above and never the text.
- Telegram
Public groups only, read with a dedicated account. Private groups are never read, and author IDs are salted and hashed before they are stored.
- DexScreener
Token, pair, liquidity and link data, used to turn an address into a token.
- GeckoTerminal
A backup for DexScreener, used only when DexScreener cannot be reached.
Each of these services has its own terms and its own privacy policy, and they apply to the data it provides.
